ACTON -- At least one person was killed in a car crash last night that occurred on the Milton Mills Road.

At 10 p.m. yesterday, deputies responded to an accident on the Milton Mills Road in Acton. A 2003 Toyota Highlander had rolled over several times and the driver, the sole occupant, had been ejected. The driver suffered massive trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.

It appears from the accident scene that the vehicle drifted off the road and rolled over at least three times. The driver was apparently not wearing his seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. The road was closed for 3 hours as deputies worked at the accident scene.

The driver has been identified as Gerard Guillemette, 55, of Lebanon.
