Maine State Police are seeking the whereabouts of a Maine man and his two young daughters who were reported missing Monday morning, according to a statement from state police spokesman Stephen McCausland.
Police say 44-year-old Peter Perfect of Carroll Plantation was last seen in Lincoln, Maine Sunday afternoon attending church with his two daughters. Perfect was expected to drop the children off at his estranged wife's home early Sunday morning, but never did, and has not been heard from.
The two daughters are 6-year-old Aleah Perfect and 2-year-old Amara Perfect. The three are believed to be traveling in Perfect's gold and tan 2003 Saturn Ion with Maine license plates 3070 LH.
Perfect, who was served with divorce papers earlier this month, may be headed out of state. Anyone seeing them or having information on their location should call Maine State Police in Orono at 1-800-432-7381.
