Maine State Police are seeking the whereabouts of a Maine man and his two young daughters who were reported missing Monday morning. peter.jpg

Police say 44-year-old Peter Perfect of Carroll Plantation (seen in the photo) was last seen in Lincoln, in Penobscot County, Sunday afternoon attending church with his two daughters.

Perfect was expected to drop the children off at his estranged wife's home early Sunday morning, but never did, and has not been heard from. He was served with divorce papers earlier this month.

The children are 6-year-old Aleah Perfect and 2-year-old Amara Perfect. The three are believed to be traveling in Perfect's 2003 Saturn with Maine license plates 3070 LH.

Perfect once lived in Anchorage, Alaska. Police believe he still has ties in that city and may be headed there, Department of Public Safety Steve McCausland said.

McCausland said police suspect Perfect may have tried to purchase plane tickets to Alaska at an airport in New England.

Anyone seeing the Perfects should call Maine State Police in Orono at 1-800-432-7381.
