Valley taps Morrill to replace Littlefield

BINGAM $ Valley High School named Wade Morrill to replace longtime boy's basketball coach Dwight Littlefield.

Morrill, a 1999 graduate of Valley, played on two state championship teams for Littlefield, and spent last season as the Cavaliers' junior varsity coach. Morrill, a physical education teacher at Valley, currently coaches the school's boy's soccer team, and coached baseball at Valley last spring.

Littlefield coached Valley for 31 years, winning 471 games and six state championships. The Cavs won 101 consecutive games from 1997 to 2001, a state record.
