Police investigate mischief, make arrests

IN SKOWHEGAN, Tuesday at 1:16 p.m., police investigated report of mischief at the Skowhegan State Fair grounds.

12:49 p.m., police investigated report of a shoplifter at West Front Market on West Front Street.

IN FAIRFIELD, Tuesday at 3:41 p.m., a caller reported a theft on North Main Street.

11:09 a.m., police investigated report of a burglary on Covell Road.

IN HARMONY, Tuesday at 10:17 a.m., a burglary was reported on Athens Road.

IN MERCER, Tuesday at 5:29 p.m., police investigated report of a theft on Valley Road.

Arrests

IN SKOWHEGAN, Wednesday at 4 a.m., Angela Carter, 22, 17 Elm St., Brewer, arrested on a warrant for theft by unauthorized taking and transfer Class E and a warrant for criminal trespass, Class E.

IN JACKMAN, Tuesday at 4:50 p.m., Lee Rankin, 22, 5 Pleasant St., Moose River, arrested on charges of tampering with a witness, Class C, and violating conditions of release.

IN NORRIDGEWOCK, Wednesday at 10:45 a.m., Michael Richards, 27, 718 Ward Hill Road, Norridgewock, arrested on charge of operating after suspension.

IN MADISON, Wednesday at 5:30 a.m., Christopher J. Shulenski, 21, Old Point Avenue, Madison, arrested on two charges of unauthorized taking and transfer.
