An Auburn man is being held on $25,000 bail after allegedly attacking his former employer's business manager with a machete.

Auburn police arrested Neil Donovan, 35, Friday afternoon at Morton's Builders on Minot Avenue, Auburn police said. Donovan, a former employee of the company, was charged with attacking the company's business manager, James Milbrath, 65.

Following the 3 p.m. incident, Milbrath was taken to Central Maine Medical Center where he was listed in satisfactory condition, police said.

Donovan is charged with elevated aggravated assault and is being held at the Androscoggin County Jail.
