AUGUSTA -- Judge Roland Beaudoin was sworn in for reappointment to the Maine District Court by Gov. John Baldacci today. Beaudoin has served on the District Court since 2001.

"Judge Beaudoin has a great deal of experience and a level of dignity and respect that is common throughout our court system," Baldacci said in a statement. "He has earned this reappointment and I look forward to his continued service."

The swearing-in took place in the governor's office with Beaudoin's wife, Rachel, also in attendance.
