GARDINER -- School Administrative District 11 board members meet Thursday to approve the final drafts of emergency management crisis plans for the district's schools.

Board members will also discuss the opening of school for the 2008-09 school year. Classes in the district, which serves students from Gardiner, Pittston, Randolph and West Gardiner, began last week.

The board meets at 7 p.m. at the district's central office on Highland Avenue.
