KENNEBUNKPORT $ Defending champion Mark Plummer of Manchester shot 66 Wednesday at Cape Arundel Golf Club to take the first-round lead in the Maine Seniors Golf Championship. Ron Brown of Portland stands two strokes back at 68 while Waterville's Dale Brown shot 69 to claim third place.
The tournament concludes today at Prouts Neck Country Club in Scarborough.
