MONMOUTH -- Monmouth police are asking the public for help in investigating the theft of two 100th anniversary-edition Harley Davidson motorcycles.

The vehicles were stolen at some point over Labor Day weekend from a commercial garage on U.S. Route 202 , said Monmouth Police Officer Evan Franklin.

The owner discovered the theft Tuesday morning. Franklin said the motorcycles were the owner's personal vehicles.

One was a black 2003 Sportster and the other a blue 2003 Ultra Glide Classic.

Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious over the weekend or with other information is asked to call the Monmouth Police Department at 933-9089.
