The Coast Guard airlifted a fisherman from the 90-foot Portland-based fishing boat Harmony this morning after he fell and injured his head.

The boat was 34 miles southeast of Nantucket, Mass. when the crew radioed Coast Guard Sector Southeastern New England in Woods Hole, Mass.

An HH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod, Mass. airlifted the 42-year-old fisherman off the boat at 4 a.m., flying him to Boston for treatment.

The Coast Guard did not have information about the man's condition.
