SKOWHEGAN -- A chicken was reported loose Thursday morning and hanging around the little park across from the VFW hall on Main Street.

The caller reported that the chicken goes into the road from time to time.

There was some concern.

"Just one chicken," the report reads, noting later: "Services rendered."
