MADISON -- In a surprisingly close game, heavily-favored Old Orchard Beach needed three fumble recoveries by Mitchell Blow to hold on for an 18-12 victory over Madison Frdiay night.

Sam Perkins rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries and also had a 63-yard interception return for Madison. Zack Chase led the Seagulls with 81 yards on 25 carries.

Old Orchard led 12-0 after the first quarter, but had only 119 yards over the remaining three quarters. The Seagulls' only score after the first quarter came after Blow recovered a Madison fumble at the Madison 2-yard-line.
