By Bob Keyes Portland Press Herald Staff Writer September 06, 2008 12:02 PM

The northbound Exit 102 of the Maine Turnpike will be closed evenings beginning Monday to allow paving contractors to work overnights. The ramp will be closed to accommodate the paving work, scheduled for 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. consecutive evenings through Thursday, according to a Maine Turnpike press release.

Motorists can take alternate routes to West Gardiner during those hours by using Exit 86 at Sabattus to Route 9 and northward on Route 126, or travel beyond West Gardiner to Augusta, and reroute through Route 2-1 to Gardiner and West Gardiner.
