One of the three men involved in the beating of a Navy petty officer in Portland's Old Port in May is expected in Cumberland County Superior Court today.
Jacob Davidson, 21, was indicted with aggravated assault for his alleged role in the beating of Odelmo Robinson, an aircraft mechanic at Brunswick Naval Air Station.

Witnesses told police that Thomas Hartt was the one who initially punched Robinson in the face and Christopher Hartt was among those who kicked Robinson in the head.
The three men and Robinson were among 82 passengers on a reggae cruise on the Casablanca in Casco Bay. Afterward, witnesses said the men were calling Robinson and his friends names and then attacked Robinson, kicking him when he lay motionless on the ground, witnesses told police.
Robinson was in a coma for a period at Maine Medical Center and authorities say he might have died had the hospital not been so close.
He has since recovered and is back at work, police say.
