IN ANSON, Monday at 10:16 p.m., a warning was issued after a disturbance on Main Street.

IN BROOKS, Monday at 2:49 p.m., a caller reported that someone broke into the old railroad station and stole his two Polaris 700 ATVs. The man reported later that a compressor and a hammer drill also were stolen.

IN CANAAN, Monday at 4:26 p.m., a traffic accident was investigated on Hartland Road.

IN FAIRFIELD, Tuesday at 9:05 a.m., a Burrill Street resident reported a vehicle theft.

Monday at 4:45 p.m., a traffic accident on Pung Hill brought, police, fire, rescue and an ambulance to the scene.

8:30 a.m., a Cottage Street resident reported a missing person.

IN HARTLAND, Monday at 5:39 p.m., a report of vandalism was reported on Mill Street.

IN MADISON, Monday at 5:27 p.m., a harassment complaint was investigated on Garfield Street.

11:57 a.m., a structure fire on Davis Road brought mutual aid for Madison Fire from Anson, Solon and Starks.

IN PITTSFIELD, Monday at 10:15 a.m., suspicious activity was investigated on Davis Street.

8:10 a.m., a theft report was investigated on Dorothy Street.

7:44 a.m., a burglar alarm was reported sounding at the Elks Lodge on Middle Street. The report was investigated.

IN SMITHFIELD, Monday at 12:53 p.m., a theft report was investigated on Stevens Road.

IN THORNDIKE, Tuesday at 8:36 a.m., a Mount View School teacher reported a student had made a threat on Monday. A Waldo County Sheriff's deputy responded to the school Tuesday morning.

IN TROY, Monday at 9:48 p.m., a caller reported horses were loose at the intersection of North Dixmont and Barker roads. The animal-control officer contacted the owner, who responded to the scene.
