LEWISTON -- Police say they have recovered a number of guns that were stolen on Aug. 27 from the Pine Tree Trading Post, and they have made an arrest in the case.

Troy Bradley, 18, of Lewiston was charged with felony counts of burglary and theft after police identified him as one of the suspects who took the guns, worth $12,000 during the robbery.

As a result of the police investigation, 11 of the 14 guns were recovered. Lt. Michael T. McGonagle said police are certain the other three are not in circulation and pose no threat to the population.

Bradley remains in jail on $4,000 cash bail. Police say it is likely more arrests will be made in the case. Furthermore, it is likely the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, which has aided in the investigation, will take over the prosecution due to the seriousness of the offense.
