AUGUSTA -- Senior forward Erin Sevey scored two goals as Skowhegan defeated Cony, 3-0, in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A field hockey action Saturday morning.

Skowhegan had edges of 12-2 in penalty corners and 16-0 in shots on goal. The Rams (2-1) played most of the game without center midfielder Kristen Felt (quad injury) and could not get anything going agaisnt Skowhegan's solid defense.

Kylie Damon scored the other goal for Skowhegan (3-0).
