Kelly Turner of Winslow won the Corporate Home Run Derby at Harold Alfond Little Fenway on Sunday.

Turner, 44, a machinist, hit three home runs of 2007 Hall of Fame inductee Cal Ripken Jr. in the first round and three more in the tie-breaker to earn the victory.

Turner received an autographed Baltimore Orioles jersey from Ripken, who threw 264 pitches and seemed to enjoy his brief trip to Maine.

"I just tried to take a pitch I could drive," Turner said.

Ripken, also known as baseball's Iron Man for playing in a record 2,632 consecutive games, joked around with participants and complimented Turner.

"He really got into a rhythm," Ripken said.
