The cruise ships Carnival Victory, American Glory and Granduer of the Seas will sail into Portland this week, city officials announced today.
All three ships will berth at Portland Ocean Terminal on Commercial Street.
Carnival Victory arrived at 8 a.m. today with 2,758 passengers and 1,100 crew members. It is 893 feet long and weighs 101,509 tons.
This is Carnival Victory's second of four visits to Portland this season. It started its seven-day sail in New York City. It departs Portland for Saint John, N.B., at 6 p.m. today.
American Glory arrives at 10 p.m. Thursday and departs at 8 a.m. Friday for Providence, R.I., ending a week-long sail along the Maine coast with 40 passengers.
Grandeur of the Seas arrives at 8 a.m. Saturday carrying 1,950 passengers. It is 916 feet long and weighs 73,817 tons.
This will be Grandeur's third of four visits to Portland this season. It began its nine-day sail in Baltimore, Md. It departs Portland for Bar Harbor at 7 p.m. Saturday.
