Medomak player hurt in Winslow

WINSLOW - A Medomak Valley girls' soccer player was in and out of consciousness late Friday afternoon after she fell during a match at Winslow.

Medomak Coach Owen Campbell said that Danielle Dyer, a junior stopper, fell following a collision as players went up for a header in the first half.
Delta Ambulance took Dyer to MaineGeneral Medical Center, Thayer Unit, in Waterville.

"There was a collision and she went in at an angle and hit someone's shoulder," Campbell said. "She came to and opened her eyes twice, and went back under both times."
