FAIRFIELD - Lawrence and Marshwood high schools each received a rating of 1 star for their performances in the Maine Band Directors Association marching band show last weekend.

Judges evaluated the marching bands in the areas of drum major, color guard, percussion, visual, music and general effect, as well as the overall rating.
Biddeford, Edward Little, Old Orchard Beach, South Portland and Westbrook followed Lawrence and Marshwood with 2 ratings.
