AUGUSTA -- Officials from the Maine Department of Transportation are warning drivers on Augusta's east side to be mindful of possible delays on Stone and Cony streets this week.

Crews will finish the widening of Stone Street, which includes work on the water lines, on Wednesday evening after 6 p.m., spokesman Mark Latti said.

Cony Street going east toward Viles Street will close all day tomorrow for road work, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Construction work started on the east side rotary last Monday.
