A car crash on Interstate 295 southbound has been cleared and traffic is flowing normally in the area.
Police reported a single car rolled over at about 2:30 p.m. on one of the state's busiest stretches of highway, the portion of 295 between Forest Avenue and Congress Street.
Witnesses reported people trapped in the car, but police could provide no details on the extent of injuries. An ambulance was called to the scene.
The crash was slowing traffic on the busy thoroughfare and causing traffic backups, but by 3 p.m., the crash site had been cleared and traffic was moving smoothly.
