IN ANSON, Sunday at 3:23 p.m., Britt Messer, 26, of Madison, arrested in the north village on a charge of domestic violence assault.

IN FAIRFIELD, Sunday at 10:22 p.m., Brett C. Paradis, 24, of Waterville was arrested on charges of possession of fireworks following a report from a Green Road resident that someone let off fireworks in a mailbox. Police also arrested a 16-year-old on a charge of possession of marijuana.

5:32 p.m., Andrew Bell, 38, of Fairfield, arrested on a probation hold.

2:19 a.m., Hunter Lofthus, 20, of Fairfield was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence on Skowhegan Road.

IN NEWPORT, Sunday at 12:30 a.m., Claude Tozier, 27, of Newport, arrested on a warrant.

IN NORRIDGEWOCK, Sunday at 2:10 a.m., Kristian Pomerleau, 22, of Mercer, arrested on a charge of operating under the influence.

IN SKOWHEGAN, Saturday at 10:55 p.m., John Tatakis, 44, of Skowhegan, arrested on a charge of failure to comply with a civil contempt order.
