By Scott Monroe Morning Sentinel reporter September 22, 2008 03:17 PM

St. Albans -- One man was stabbed with a knife two to three times and another was beaten with a baseball bat during an altercation at a residence on Todds Corner Road Sunday night, police said.

Police declined to name the individuals involved, saying no charges had been filed. Both men are in their 30s and live in the area, police said.

The incident was reported to a Somerset County dispatcher as a disturbance at 7:40 p.m. Both county and state police responded. Somerset police said more details would be released later.
