WATERVILLE $ Colby College senior Victor Gagne earned the first-ever New England Small College Athletic Conference football special teams player of the week award for his performance in Saturday's season opener.

Gagne punted five times for an average of 43.6 yards in the Mules 28-0 loss to Williams College.
