Recent Updates
The Legislature's Appropriations and Financial Affairs Committee will meet Thursday to get updates on state revenues, Dirigo Health and school district consolidation.
The panel, which meets monthly, will also get a preliminary report on the Fund for a Healthy Maine, which is the state's tobacco settlement money. Also, lawmakers are scheduled to hear more about the state Department of Health and Human Services' transition to a new billing agent for Medicaid accounts.
The meeting is set to begin at 9:30 a.m. in room 228 of the Statehouse. It is expected to last all day.
