PALMYRA -- A Palmyra woman was seriously injured early this morning after her car pulled in front of a logging truck on Route 2.

Julie Henderson, 42, was listed in critical condition at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

The accident happened at 5:15 a.m., said Trooper Aaron Turcotte of Maine State Police. Henderson was pulling out of her driveway when she rolled into the path of an empty pulp truck, driven by Christopher Elwell, 37, of Benedicta.

The truck struck the driver's side of Henderson's 2002 Dodge Status.
