Maine's Office of Tourism has selected a Portland agency for its ad campaign.
Swardlick Marketing Group won the new one-year advertising contract which has an estimated value of $3.6 million.
In announcing the contract award, John Richardson, commissioner of the Department of Economic and Community Development said "Tourism is Maine's most powerful economic engine and it is important to market aggressively. Swardlick's reputation and experience in tourism will lend itself well to a strong and effective ad campaign."
