KNOX - Its membership growing, the Knox Ridge Baptist Church has a changing face.

Sunday school teacher Rusty Higgins of Knox said Wednesday that volunteers soon will be putting siding on a three-story addition to the old church, located on scenic Knox Ridge. Abutting landowner John Ingraham donated the land for the addition, Higgins said.

Higgins said that the addition will provide more classroom space for Sunday school, a kitchen and function space.

The church, one of the largest in that section of Waldo County, has grown to about 90 members, Higgins said.
