FAIRFIELD - Enrollment is underway at Kennebec Valley Community College for two new medical-imaging programs designed to offer training to experienced radiological technologists. Both were previously unavailable in Maine.

The advanced certificate programs in mammography and computed tomography will be primarily on-line, with classes beginning in January.

The courses are expected to fill quickly, and KVCC is encouraging those interested to apply soon.
The college plans to enroll approximately 15 students in tomography and 10-to-15 in mammography. Admission criteria include proof of a current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists credential and a state of Maine Radiologic Technologist license.
