WATERVILLE -- Colby College safety Tom Daley has been named the New England Small College Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Daley had two fumble recoveries in the Mules' 13-7 win over Wesleyan University on Saturday. With Wesleyan up 7-3, Daley recovered a fumble in his own end zone for a touchback. He then recovered a fumbled on a muffed punt return.
