The Legislature's Government Oversight Committee meets today to get an update from Maine Department of Health and Human Services Commissioner Brenda Harvey on MaineCare and other changes in the department.

The committee, which oversees the Office of Program Evaluation and Government Accountability, is scheduled to meet at 9:30 a.m. in room 202 of the Cross State Office Building in Augusta.

The committee is scheduled to take public comment on a report that reviewed how the state issues contracts for professional services. It will also consider a request to have the agency review the Fund for a Healthy Maine, the state's tobacco settlement fund.
