Portland police and city officials are planning a community public safety meeting to discuss crime trends and safety tips.
City Councilor Dave Marshall and Acting Police Chief Joseph Loughlin will host the meeting, which will include an overview of recent crime trends in the city and actions steps residents can take to avoid becoming a victim.
The meeting will include a question and answer period.
The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Council Chamber.
