GARDINER - A forum is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. at the Gardiner Public Library on Oct. 20 for candidates running for the office of mayor and seats on the City Council.

Each candidate will be asked random questions about many local issues, according to a press release.

Before the official forum begins, the moderator, Michael Estrada, news director for Blueberry Broadcasting who is known as Mr. Mike on WTOS, will allow each candidate a few minutes to give the audience some biographical information. After the debate finishes, the audience will be allowed to ask questions in a town meeting format.
