AUGUSTA -- Augusta Police on Monday will be helping to expedite traffic around construction taking place on Cony circle.

Police Lt. Kevin Lully said officers will be working to keep traffic flowing on Memorial Bridge and on the rotary itself while crews are at the site.

Changes in the rotary lanes were required as part of the permitting process for development of a new Hannaford Bros. supermarket on the site of the former Cony High School and for other projects
