BIDDEFORD -- Biddeford Savings has launched a $2.2 million renovation of its main office branch on Main Street.
A major part of the project is a geothermal heating and cooling system, officials said. Other energy efficient improvements will be updating light fixtures and windows. Construction is scheduled to be complete next summer.
"This is a major strategic investment in downtown Biddeford-Saco and will produce a lot of work for local tradespeople," President and Chief Executive Officer Wayne Sherman said in a statement.
