KENTS HILL -- Kents Hill School plans to dedicate its new turf fields at a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday.
The school will christen the two fields the Ted Alfond Field and the John Huard Field after two Kents Hill graduates.
The fields are recent additions to the private schools campus after the late Maine philanthropist Harold Alfond donated $2.7 million in 2007 for the turf fields' construction.
The ceremony, which begins at 3 p.m., will also mark the opening of new locker rooms and offices at the Alfond Athletics Center.
