Police released the poster at right in an attempt to catch a man wanted in connection with a string of burglaries.

Daniel Murphy is wanted by police in connection with a number of robberies of construction equipment. So far, police have arrested two men in connection with the same robberies, and we have that story in today's paper, which can be read by clicking on THIS LINK.

Police searched Murphy's residence, 84 Brackett St., late Wednesday night and recovered some of the thousands of dollars in stolen property. But they did not find Murphy, who is being sought for outstanding arrest warrants charging theft, larceny and violating bail conditions. Anyone who has seen him or may have an idea of his whereabouts are encouraged to call Westbrook Police at 854-0644. Anonymous calls are fine. Text messages can also be sent to 239-7408.
