OAKLAND -- Sophomore Bri Warren scored the first three goals of the game as top-ranked Messalonskee cruised to a 7-1 win over ninth-seeded Brunswick in an Eastern A field hockey quarterfinal Tuesday afternoon.

Holly Oliver scored the next two goals for Messalonskee (14-1). Lauren Hachey and Taylor McCarthy also scored for the Eagles, who play No. 4 Cony in a semifinal scheduled for Saturday.

Cecelia Kjellman scored off a pass from Kyia Jensen for Brunswick (8-8).
