WATERVILLE -- Sociologist David Pilgrim, one of the country's leading experts in race relations, will visit Colby College on Wednesday night to present the lecture "Racism, Sexism and Other Isms in the 2008 Presidential Election."

The talk, free and open to the public, is scheduled at 7 p.m. in room 142 of the Diamond Building.

Pilgrim is founder and curator of the Jim Crow Museum at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich. The museum has a 5,000 piece collection of racist artifacts. Pilgrim uses the museum as a way to address issues involving intolerance.
