Police handle thefts, accidents

IN ANSON, Sunday at 5:45 p.m., police investigated a report of mischief on Randall Street.

5:42 p.m., a caller reported a disturbance on Summer Street.

IN JACKMAN, Sunday at 9:16 a.m., a caller reported someone had been assaulted. An arrest was made.

IN MADISON, Sunday at 2:08 p.m., a caller reported theft of items from Oak Street.

9 a.m., a passenger in the front seat a Mercury Sable suffered facial cuts and bruises, had a swollen eye and hit his nose when the car in which he was riding drifted off the road and hit a stand of pines on Russell Road, police said. The driver was not injured. The passenger refused to go to the hospital.

IN NORRIDGEWOCK, Sunday at 3:09 p.m., a caller reported a theft of items from Benjamin Drive.

IN SKOWHEGAN, Monday at 7:53 a.m., police investigated report of a theft on Forrest Greene Street.

Saturday at 11:30 a.m., a caller reported a theft at Irving Mainway on Madison Avenue.

Arrests

IN JACKMAN, Sunday at 1:20 a.m., Jeffery Douglas Mulhall, 18, 45 Mill Road, Jackman, arrested on a charge of domestic assault.
