WATERVILLE $ The Public Works Department started doing curbside leaf pickup Monday and will continue to do so through November 26th.
This is limited to residential properties only. Residents should put their leaves in untied plastic bags and place them at the curb, separate from their household trash, according to public works officials.
Leaf pickup for residents will generally take place on the same day household trash normally is collected. However, there may be some delays due to weather or other scheduling problems. No leaf pickup will take place on November 11 and 12.
Yard waste drop-off at the public works facility at 6 Wentworth Court is being extended for one additional week. This will now remain open until Friday, November 7. Those wanting more information are asked to call the Public Works Department at 877-7530.
