Incumbent Democrat Linda Valentino won another term in the House District 134 race. The district represents part of Saco.

Valentino defeated her Republican challenger, Allene Scott, by a vote of 3,639 to 1,526.

Valentino serves on the Legislature's Appropriations Committee and the Legal and Veterans Affairs Committee. She cited her experience as an advantage during a time of economic difficulties.

Scott, a doctor who consults for Unum, said she would work on a fiscally conservative agenda and reduce taxes.
