WISCASSET - The Wiscasset woman missing since Thursday was found, according to police.

The Wiscasset Police Department, Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, Maine State Police and Maine Warden's Service conducted a joint investigation and search for Jessica Norris (also known as Jessica Fraiser), 38, of the West Alna Road in Wiscasset.

Norris, who was last seen around 3 p.m. Thursday, was going out for a walk with her black lab puppy as she often did on the woods roads and trails near her home, police said.

Her fiance contacted police when Norris did not return home.

Police dog teams from the Maine Warden's Service and Lincoln County Sheriff's Office had checked the woods around the home.

Police said she was safe and sound, but could not provide any further information.
