FARMINGDALE -- Police responded to a motorcycle accident on the Ryder Road a little after 1 p.m. today.

Someone was seriously injuried, according to the Maine State Police dispatch.

Dispatch said LifeFlight had been called in, but the company's helicopters weren't flying because of poor weather conditions.

Police would not provide any further information.
