Work on the Maine Turnpike will lead to several lane closures in the Greater Portland area Monday.

Around mile 18 in Wells, road work will necessitate a northbound lane closure between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.

At mile 43 in Scarborough, a northbound lane closure is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to allow for pavement repairs.

At the Exit 44 interchange bridge in Scarborough, a fixed southbound shoulder will be closed. Work zone speed limits are in effect.

At mile 67 in New Gloucester, north- and southbound lanes are scheduled for closure from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. to allow for work on Mayall Road Bridge. A 50 mph work zone speed limit will be in effect.
