Police handle assault, thefts

IN MADISON, Saturday at 11:04 p.m., police responded to report of an assault on Oak Street.

IN SKOWHEGAN, Saturday at 5:57 p.m., police investigated report of a theft at George's Smoke Shop on Water Street.

5:55 p.m., a Dr. Mann Road resident reported a theft.

1:43 p.m., police investigated a report of vandalism at a Bennett Avenue residence.

2:47 a.m., police investigated a report of theft at a Dane Avenue residence.

Arrests

IN MADISON, Sunday at 3:30 p.m., Bambi Prevost, 34, 12 Oak St., Madison, arrested on a charge of violation of conditions of release.

Friday at 11:20 a.m., Peter Gordon, 39, 10 Fir St., Madison, arrested on a warrant for failure to pay fine--operating after suspension.

IN SOMERET COUNTY, Friday at 8:18 p.m., James Vasquez, 42, 32 Tufts St., Malden, Mass., arrested on a warrant--operating after suspension.

IN SKOWHEGAN, Sunday at 3:53 p.m., Tony Curtis, 30, 14 Pine St., Skowhegan, arrested on a warrant for unpaid fines and fees--operating after suspension, prior.

Saturday at 2:40 a.m., Aaron Crocker, 22, 765 Bigelow St., Skowhegan, arrested on a charge of operating under the influence.

1:50 p.m., Joshua Gagne, 25, 12 St. James Street, Skowhegan, arrested on charges of violation of conditions of release and a warrant--unpaid fines and fees.
