Benefit dinner to be held for fire victim

WASHINGTON -- The public is invited to a benefit dinner this Saturday night to help a local fire victim.

The dinner will benefit Pixie Day, 82, whose home was severely damaged in a fire about a month ago.

The benefit dinner will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Evening Star Grange Hall, 31 Old Union Rd. in Washington.

The cost is $7 per plate for adults, $3.50 per plate for children and children under age five are free.
